Digi's USB Plus Series utilizes USB PlusPower, or powered USB, technology to eliminate external power supply bricks for USB peripheral devices like printers, bar-code scanners and signature capture devices. The USB Plus series can save space and simplify system architecture by transforming a low-cost PC into a high-performance, powered USB-compatible retail system.
Hubport/PCI+ utilizes power balancing to provide maximum power to 12 volt and 24 volt peripherals without exhausting the PC's five- or 12-volt power.
