EXP400 EXT SCSI STORAGE ENCL 14 BAY

The IBM EXP400 External SCSI Storage Enclosure option provides the ability to expand the storage capacity of your system beyond the physical limitations of the server. A 14-bay enclosure, it can provide up to 2TB of externally attached storage based on installed hard disk drives. The available twin tailing/split bus feature allows two servers to access the data. This high-function, high-density storage expansion unit is intended to work in a rack or tower. It can support up to 14 Ultra320 SCSI drives on a single logical bus. It supports easy customer servicing. Most replaceable items and components are easily accessible for replacement from either the front or the back.
